Darwinism and Philosophy
Reading today: Darwinism and Philosophy, Hosle & Illies (eds). I found this book quite challenging and it will make me upgrade my Darwin critiques. Basically Darwinian in viewpoint the book nonetheless shows some shifting of ground from philosophers of biology. I recommend it for Darwinists, and would prefer to argue on this terrain, rather than with the loudmouthed but braindead shouting match cliches of the current scene. Will try to discuss some of the chapters later.
