Elementary, Mr. Watson
James comments on Amateurs only people left to critique Darwinism
People in science and academia have to much at stake to criticize Darwinism. And the aura of expertise hides some very elementary flaws in scientific reasoning, among them the obvious violation of scientific procedure in the observation of natural selection. Thus, for this among other reasons, an amateur can easily pinprick the establishment pretensions.

Give me a f*cking break. These people need to get over this idea that learning evolutionary biology is analogous to learning quantum field theory. They can’t simultaneously claim, as Richard Dawkins argues, that evolutionary biology is exceedingly easy to understand but that it can only be evaluated by “experts.”
