Good points. I’ll let it stand as is.

You’re right, but the victims also deserve some of the blame. It requires a lot of study to get the facts straight about the highly volatile history of Indian religion and the influence of Neo-Brahmanical theistic propaganda (reading the books of a useless charlatan like Chopra isn’t going to help). It is not my intention to sound condescending, but most of the followers are too hopelessly gullible and naive to realize that something is amiss even after they’ve been abused. It is an impossible situation given the fact that these people tend to believe everything that they read in the first book about Indian religion that they pick up from the New Age bookshelf. There really isn’t much hope when the average Hindu tells them that the Buddha was an avatar of Vishnu.
