Intelligence expelled in Ben Stein’s controversial documentary
Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed is a controversial documentary in which Ben Stein – an economist, author, actor (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off), game show host (Win Ben Stein’s Money) and former speech writer for Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford – examines what he calls an attack on academic freedom. The attack, the movie says, comes from a scientific establishment that is so persuaded of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution that it will not permit an alternative theory. That theory, called Intelligent Design, postulates a grand Designer, or God, who created life in the first place.
