I see a lot in common here with the discrete freedom sequence representing the three non-random econic transitions in world history: the transitions involve error recognition and a break out to freedom; and while the mystery slips quietly away and back into Kant’s third antinomy, slipping away from out most greedy self interest to rediscover true freedom as the flight of spirit.

Note that Schelling anticipates the break out as primal consciousness must pull away from itself; but it returns later to get a better look at its self, presumably performing error recognition in the process.

Nevertheless, the photo finish demonstrates that the flight of spirit is away from Darwin’s natural selection; as the fittest and most greedy circum to an unanticipated landslide at the “end of history.” The returning to get a better look at itself, is the “beginning of history” or the start of a new transition.

The threefold rhythm is found in the large and the small, and permeates life. And yes, “Landslide” is sung in song, but I will spare you the YouTube link. :)
