This incident makes transparent the cynical propaganda strategy of the Science/Darwinism establishment: no doubts can be aired in public, but if they are, a story about paradigm change is coopted, and buffered with some errant nonsense about ‘postmodern evolution’, an idiotic, but perhaps effective, smear tactic that will trigger a response in the world of post-Sokal affair true believers.
