Intelligent design debate brews controversy in Texas
There is a brewing controversy over who makes the decisions for your child’s science education.
The Texas Freedom Network, a nonpartisan organization that advances mainstream agendas in education, is concerned over the inclusion of three intelligent design supporters on the state’s Science Standards Review Panel.
“Intelligent design is essentially an undermining of the theory of evolution and sound science in our public schools, and we’re deeply disturbed by that,” TFN’s President Kathy Miller said.
