The Old Testament and evolution

There is a selection from World History And The Eonic Effect on this blog: The eonic effect: resolving the enigma of the Old Testament.

All the discussion by scientists of the ‘evolution’ of religion has missed the point. We do see the relationship of religion and evolution, but it’s not the Darwinian brand that is going to work.
Correctly understanding the Old Testament simply isn’t happening in contemporary scientific thinking on evolution. They can’t even bring themselves to mention the ‘Axial Age’ in public.
And the Axial Age depicts a massive sudden shift in the development of civilization. Whole cultures suddenly remorph and spawn a huge number of innovations.
So, what is it that can remorph whole sectors of Eurasia in short intervals? It is not surprising that earlier men interpreted geographical transformations as the action of divinities!
So scientific condescension here is a bit misplaced.
How can science explain the Axial Age?
Until they stop playing ostrich with the data, they won’t explain much.
But the approach of the eonic model begins to make some sense of the facts that we have. And the basic answer is, ‘evolution’.
