Repeat it often enough and…
The Origin of Species: Over 149 years, Darwin’s theory of evolution has withstood attacks far better than many other scientific theories
This is the usual balderdash on Darwinism. Darwinism survives because public media can repeat such statements over and over again, as the truth of the matter is marginalized.
Actually Darwinism resembles string theory in being essentially unfalsifiable, hence the inability to finish it off.
In natural selection’s case, the evidence is innumerable, rigorous and undeniable. Let’s be perfectly clear: evolution is an incontrovertible fact: we can and have observed generational change in living things. Darwin was not the first to point out the anti-fundamentalist idea that nature is not immutable. The theory of evolution is supported by so many facts that as far as science goes, it’s as irrefutable as the theory of gravity. If you enjoy knocking the scientific method by challenging ideas far from this level of certainty, try string theory.
As usual, this confuses evolution and natural selection. The facts of evolution are solid, but the question of natural selection is simply beyond correct demonstration in most crucial cases. And it is irresponsible to say otherwise.
The endless persistence of Darwinism in such false terms is going to backfire sooner or later, and the public will give scientists the treatment they will end up deserving, contempt, and mistrust.

“Natural selection as outlined in 1859 remains as robust as ever.”
Actually, the Darwinists have unwittingly proven that Ernest Rutherford’s theory is as robust as ever:
“All science is either physics or stamp collecting.”
