Hyping the New Atheism
The Growing Clout of Atheists and Non-Believers

It is hard to estimate these things, but it would seem that atheism is making very little headway at all.
The reason is the flawd ideology getting promoted in the name of ‘atheism’.
This washed out belief system peddled by Richard Dawkins to sell his books and promote Darwinism, scientism, and atheism is never going to make it against religion.
At the same time, ‘atheism’ is an ancient perspective going back to the Buddhists, et al.
And even as we speak we see the other legacy of atheism, the marxists of China, exterminating all traces of the Tibetan ‘atheist’ culture.
That’s a message with a moral: many atheists are at risk from this know-nothing atheism promoted in the name of the New Atheism. The seeds of fanaticism are already there.
So I think the New Atheist movement should stop being another interest group and ask why its impoverished belied system can’t get any traction, and why it alienates many previously existing atheists.

Personally, I prefer the Epicurians. No supernatural BS or mysticism.

The question of Tibet is not easy to solve. It is not solved by Chinese suppressions, whatever the faults of the tibetan elite.

Externally, both are equally culpable by ignorance – at first we have one party repressing the other with a certain sort of claims, later we have those communists waving the flag of Materialism in the name of “progress” marching upon the first… Internally, however, in one case there’s still the flash of light from the truth glancing from beneath upon them, however distorted it may have become.
