I am moving swiftly toward the (highly revised) fourth edition, plus a new book, and this material will soon vanish into the woodwork, so ….best to get going, the more so since this is the real ‘enchilada’. No other book on evolution can compete with this one, which is remarkable, since ‘officially’ it doesn’t exist, and most scholars would be fired from their job if they dared mention it. Further, noone so far has produced a refutation of this line of argument (apart from the usual insults from Darwinists who have never read the text), or, for that matter, even a counterargument. Not surprising, the argument is very robust (and finally empirical). Some people run away screaming, ‘Oh my god, more Kant’. But, in fact, the Kantian material is entirely elementary.
