Can scientists control the future of science??

In general, the completely natural question arises: do scientists control the evolution of science?
In fact, they don’t!!! Consider this in light of the eonic effect:

    Scientist cannot control the future of science because scientists, and their theories, are driven by their emotions! That this is true implies that science (by itself) will never arrive at a pure theory.
