Why is Huffpost peddling evolutionary psychology?
Arianna’s ‘liberal’ porno site not reliable on evolution
It is strangely dishonest for the Huffingpost to be suddenly giving a forum to the likes Wilson and his brand of reductionist Darwinism (which somehow becomes pegged as the ‘liberal’ brand).
Arianna Huffington is a New Age spiritual type, and a closet admirer of Deepak Chopra. So why should ordinary readers of Huffpost get subjected to the Darwin propaganda machine?
It is pure hypocrisy.
As noted in the previous post, the attempted Darwinian takeover of the whole of culture is both dangerous and unnecessary and will backfire. So why can’t media such as the Huffington Post lead the way in demanding a broadening of the meaning of secular culture. What are they afraid of? P.Z.Myers and the howler monkeys? If we let such people intimidate us the result will backfire.
Similar statements apply to other such sites, like Daily Kos where Darwin dogma is enshrined, and, I might add, enforced.
(I was banned long ago from that site. I can’t even comment!!! Phoney liberals I would say.)
We are missing something here, but this is a perfect case of intimidation we can suspect, and a statistics calculation.
Cowardice will not work in the end, Ms. Huffington.
