I think the issue goes much deeper than science vs. religion (defining these terms in relation to mainstream debate). I have a feeling that human psychological potential (the essence of “true religion”) is inherently dangerous and subversive to the powers that be (this includes the historical religions!) and much of the esteemed values of society. Big Science and Madison Avenue have much more in common with the historical religions than most people realize. They have simply taken up the role of suppressing this potential to keep people in line.

You are right. The resemblance of Darwinism as a kind of cult to the crystallization of religion by the Church Fathers is a bit too obvious for comfort.

It would seem to be the case that the powers that be have a vested interest in controlling the population, in effect dumbing them down with Darwinism. Interestingly, this does connect to psychology, religion and spirituality. It has to do with language being asserted to express a dominant will.

One reason I wrote my book was so that I can point to it. I can point to it, and tell the powers that be that I don`t believe in the stinkin canard that is propagated as science but is only scientism. I don`t expect to persuade many, but I feel secure enough to limit my activity to provide honest disclosures.

Stephen, what’s the title of your book?

Can you suggest any other books that offer good critiques of Darwinism?

Reece, you question provides justification for sharing this book list again on evolution beyond Darwinism:

My book is only one of many on this list.
