Both sides have succeeded in terminally confusing the public by claiming that there are only two options. I can’t say that I’ve read one account from either IDers or Darwinists that doesn’t indulge in oversimplifications to support its position. It’s almost better to purge the mainstream debate from your mind. Let’s face it: Dawkins, Behe, Coyne, Meyer, etc. are of Karen Armstrong caliber when it comes to evolutionary theory.
