    It is the dishonest that have now exalted themselves by way of interview. But there is a price to pay when you can`t trust an author because he (or she) uses his words to deceive, rather than enlighten.

    It is only that Sokal is so-cool with his fake article in Social Text. The problem is that is was submitted as factual, and that makes Sokal a liar. Say what you like about Sokal`s ability to detect weak thinking among postmodernists. He demonstrated his ability through deceit, and that does not change! And pulling the wool over the eyes of Social Text does not seem all that impressive to me, given that Social Text is not a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Social Text needed to rely on a professional trust that Sokal could not deliver on.

    Is Sokal a dedicated Darwinist too?
