Naturalism misdefined, or undefined

The problem is the attempt to find some Platonic definition of “naturalism.” When referring to “naturalism,” are we talking about Newtonian naturalism, Einsteinian naturalism, and/or QM naturalism? There are many different forms of “naturalism” and those who invoke it are in the same boat as those babble endlessly about “God.”

There a many others: Spinozistic naturalism, Samkhya naturalism, even Schopenhauer’s naturalism.

    Good point, but I was pointing out how difficult it is to define even with relation to physics. Even within QM, the different interpretations espouse different conceptions of “naturalism” (i.e. Bohmian, many worlds, etc.).
