Abolish all psychic firewalls! The idiocy of modern scientism
Hawking’s concern about aliens (I am not familiar with the details) is not inappropriate, but probably is too close to the sci-fi rocket ship invaders (as with the film Avatar, the danger in reverse!) myths to get the point. The real aliens, if real, would not use rocketships, the disinformation joke, I suspect, about ‘UFO’s’ as rocket ships that aren’t rocket ships, so what are they?
Meanwhile the stance of modern scientism on the question of the occult, the real source of danger, is so retrogressive, such a principled rejection of the reality of human history, religion, and culture since the Paleolithic (whose men instinctively sensed, and mostly got wrong, the occult as a species characteristic), as to be almost unbelievable, tantamount to declaring firewalls should be abolished because they are not needed, the Internet being a fiction.
That’s why a religion like Xtianity won’t go away confronted with science. Although such conventional religion is almost as bad as science in the way it embraces blinders for man (Islam with its sufistic strain is far less primitivised on this), it does in principle contain hidden understandings of the broader domain of human spiritual psychology. Although knowledge of this tends to be forbidden in public, resembling the scientific effort to reduce man to idiocy the more to control him, it does exist, and clearly is present in the figure Jesus (I am not referring to the Resurrection issue/myth), as with many Sufis.
It is a quagmire impossible to get straight, the reason exoteric religions tend to abolish knowledge of what’s what. But is a part of human psychology, and when the gangs pursuing ‘world domination’ viz. the modern science gangs (and gangsters with their proxies like the superidiot Dawkins) come about they must vigorously suppress knowledge of man as he is with new myths.
