Martin Gardner, 1914 – 2010

Martin Gardner is a worthy figure in the application of skepticism to the endless wave of bad science, exploitations of suggestibility, and confused New Age beliefs. But….

Skepticism of that brand has at best a narrow range of applicability, albeit directed toward the large numbers of frauds stalking this range.

The list goes on.
