Pantheism
Curiously interesting blog or web (no agreement as such from me): Pantheism as “Sexed up Atheism”
As we noted yesterday the case for anything on the subject of god goes through a set of phases arriving, usually, back at its starting point. Pantheism seems like a winner, at first, but collapses like the rest. Here however is the crux of the Spinoza gambit: a sly fence sitting theism/atheism combo, that lurked in the wings behind the Enlightenment mainstream, to surface powerfully in German Classical Philosophy, only to be demolished by Kant, who was then, so they say, amended by the reinvention of pantheism by Hegel…
