The Great Transition
The failure to see ‘evolution’ in history makes us think that human speciation is complete, even as we try to inject Darwinian scenarios on that history, with the resulting Social Darwinism.
I think that Darwinism has produced a dangerous distortion of the real situation, which requires man to ‘evolve’ to a real humanity, and that can’t be achieved by thinking that degrading man to survival of the fittest will produce some kind of superman. Darwin misled Nietzsche, who produced a dangerous ideology of genocidal eugenics. But the ‘ubermensch’ won’t appear from nihilist antics from the social darwinists.
