Despite the interest of this perspective it is totally untrustworthy from physicists obsessed with atheism.
A closer look shows the incoherence of the whole idea. There is no reason scientists should be so afraid of the big-band ‘creation moment’ aspects of standard theories (not the same as creationism): an equal incoherence haunts the opposite argument.
Cut through the hype here and ask, what the heck are you talking about. This isn’t science. It is clear that noone knows here.
The resemblance of these issues to the classic antinomies of Kant should remind us that both sides are in orbit around nonsense.
One thing is sure, if Sam Harris is seconding this, it is a new atheist play in the making.
