Finding a new basis for secular humanism, beyond theism/atheism

February 29th, 2012 · No Comments

The question of the Axial Age could be a useful framework for a true secular humanism, which can stand beyond theism and atheism, and make the history of religion and its lore the foundation for a new secular ‘religion’ that isn’t religion, and isn’t ‘not-religion’.

We can move beyond ‘religions’, but the basis for their evolution in history needs to be understood, especially in light of the eonic effect/Axial Age
