The point of this post was to press the issue on the clear intimidation present in too much liberal/left commentary. We are out of time for the evasive journalism on the left that is, one suddenly realizes, that way because the writers are afraid. Be afraid. But we are out of time here, and the fact is that publicly communicating Amerian citizens are able to speak openly about social change/reform/revolution without getting what residents in Yemen and Pakistan are getting. Speaking out is essential to the future, and will hope those other victims.
Watch out, I could be wrong, but I think that if you are careful and have nothing in your ‘surveillance mode’ that can be used against you still have free speech, whatever the case with ‘free action’. This could change, as Hedges reminds us, with his various comments here, and his work on the NDAA.
Our remarks here are often about gendanken experiments, etc….
The covert government is three quarters of the way to their revolution/counterrevolution, and soon the power of action will be gone.
We need a program of postcapitalism. The sooner it is discussed in public the better.
