What It’s Going to Take to Claw Back Middle Class Wealth from the 1%
When unions decline, inequality soars and we all lose.

We need something new to take the place of unions, without giving up the effort to revive them:
unions, after all, were originally a compromise with more general attempts (e.g. communism) to change society as a whole. Unions, and their mentality, are self-absorbed and don’t support a logic beyond their own narrow concerns.
And the decline is like undertow before a new wave: globalization has generated the need for a global movement…
