The critique of darwinism without the ‘intelligent design’ confusions

March 11th, 2014 · No Comments

The public needs to realize the limits of darwinism without getting entangled in ‘intelligent design’. The latter has a good critique of darwinism but a perspective of design that has no real cogency in the form in which it is proposed. We can’t use the term ‘intelligent’ in describing nature using only the weak arguments of Dembski’s ‘design inference’. And we cannot cryptically use an anthropomorphic term in bad faith: to suggest a theistic explanation without direct proof of the agent involved.
