The basics of a postcapitalist economy are not as far from reality as the Bolshevik experiment makes us think. The reciprocity of the duality of communism/capitalism should be a warning that the logical predominance of capitalist logic is misleading. The basic thrust of LFM here is the larger context of world history leading to the integrated ‘transition’ we call modernity. This integrated structure is speculative if theorized but clear enough if we take the larger view. Then we cease to separate the various components and incidents, as the Reformation, the Scientific Revolution, the cascades of revolution, the rise of liberalism leading to communism, and the Enlightenment and Romantic movement, in a short list, come to seem wings in a concert and the dialectical balance of the whole stands out.
We then see that capitalism needed to be balanced as soon as possible with a dialectical antithesis (if you don’t think so check out the works of Dickents) as the explosion of economy and the corruption of personality went hand in hand.
