We have had some criticisms of Klein here (deliberately a little unreasonable), but we can set that aside for the moment to see what she can get done with her new book. My problem is seen from this article: it is basically revolutionary rhetoric clipped to sound vague. That can be good or bad, deceptive, or pretending.
In any case, the problem is to invoke commuism without naming it, and then changing your mind later, seamlessly, because you were vague to start with.
To me, to solve the planetary crisis requires more than a one issue campaign: climate change. We need a revolutionary action against a whole system….Degrowth pretty well invokes that, without saying so. Best of luck with her book.
