The commonality of Axial Age exemplars

The religious history of Israel has confused us: if we examine the legacies of the Axial Age we see that there is a suspected commonality to the whole spectrum of emergent exemplars: Roman, Greek, ‘Israel/Judah’, Persian, Indian, Chinese: the whole diversity of this strange ‘macro’ phenomenon therefore needs a commonality of interpretation, undermining the theistic mythologies here.
