The mindset of historical sociology

The Eonic Manifesto

The left should consider my critique of historians via the discussion of The History Manifesto: the marxist left has been stuck in a particular mindset that excludes far too many other viewpoints to be viable anymore. Attempts to foist classic marxism on a new leftist movement will induce shutdown in such a movement. ‘History’ won’t tolerate a rerun of classic failed bolshevism. And a replay will put a majority at odds with such a movement. Something new is needed, even if the core of marxism is a good starting point.
I think one lesson of history and my WHEE is that theories are going to fail. The substitute is an historical chronicle and living agents with free agency. The attempt to create a theory of the super/substructure simply didn’t work. The key idea of some correlation between the economic infrastructure and the superstructure remains relevant, in discussions on a case basis.
Historical sociology hasn’t gotten anything right and is a muddle of scientism.
The left needs to wake up a little and see their core idiocy. Look at my case: after an endless effort to contribute to the left all I could expect from the current leftist zombies is murder. Not very good solidarity there, comrades.
The Eonic Model doesn’t really need a manifesto, but perhaps Last and First Men is close enough!
