The Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement usurps federal, state and local authority, and functions as a global corporate coup.
The reason we are so focused on the issue of communism is because capitalism has long since graduated to communism, in reverse, and on the global level. The critique of communism forgets that in principle the detailed global planning and market manipulation behind the ideology of markets shows precisely the possibility of micro-managed economies on a global level. The dialectic if we can call it that shows capitalism anticipating the steps of global control that a rational regulatory system on a transnational level would be forced to consider.
That’s the irony: capitalism by pioneering a demonic upside down communism is forcing the issue of the real thing. The point is that we can’t stop the TPP without and equal dose of transnational action.
