Reading WHEE

Sundays are our WHEE/reading days, and it is useful to skim through the book with one section from each chapter.
Get a feeling for what is needed to really discuss ‘evolution’: immense data sets that can’t be summarized in a formula of any kind.
We have the default version of a theory of evolution: a series of time intervals in which ‘development’ has to be studied via its detail
We need to try and visualize complex events over several centuries with what is essentially a chronicle, not a ‘law’ of evolution.
