Time at bat, strike out on altruism

The issue of atruism has been discussed here many times: biological science can’t resolve the issue within the context of darwinism: group selection or otherwise. A property of generosity is a complex reality that requires resolution of soul/mind/ethics questions by biologists. But they can’t solve them because they can’t deal with the fundamentals of an organism becoming a sentient creature with mind and consciousness. To isolate one property and obsessively try reductionist explanation is, here, a queer sign of social ideology: capitalist society must debunk altruism.

The Gurdjieff situation is hopeless from the start: it would take a year’s research to validate this video. But any further comments might be useful
