History, Evolution, and The Darwin Debate

The debate on this has many different aspects, but in general I no longer believe that ‘evolution’ is unpredictable’. I suspect, looking into deep time, that in a fog of lesser developments, the overall ‘evolution’ of ‘life’ is somehow predictable, but no doubt in a way we might get wrong at first.
All the stage of life, from the onset of life itself, to the stages of life….pre-Cambrian, plants, animals, primates, ‘hominids’ suggest a larger teleological aspect. (we have often used the stream and sequence concept pair to discuss this: http://history-and-evolution.com/whee4th/chap4_2_2.htm).
