Sonnets on the go…scanning mouse-nibbled drafts

Some scanned material, some old sonnets…
I used to roam the west in the eighties riding freight trains and writing one sonnet a day (and a lot of blank verse) and then never looking at them again. Found the trove of material recently and have begun to look through it. The best ones are the ones you write without hesitation to the end, or to jut before the last couplet…
Actually, revising these would be easy and the result might be worth it, dunno.
I discovered sufi occultists were trying to create a reactionary from a poet (like T.S. Eliot) and ended abandoning poetry. And sufism. The sufis come lately now are a poor travesty of the era that produced figures like Rumi…
