Evolution without genetics

These efforts to extend the theory of evolution want to change without dropping natural selection.

More generally the question of evolution seems to transcend genetic explanations. (I can’t rule out meta-genetic ‘mechanisms’ that are still genetic, epigenetics comes close???)
But in general we can deduce that if fine-tuning is a reality then putatively the ‘plan’ of life was pre-genetic.

And I recommend repeatedly looking at the ‘macro effect’ in WHEE where we see something whose core ‘plan’ clearly predates the onset of Neolithic futures, i.e. world history.
There are a lot of things that just appear, without a lead-up.

The evidence of world history shows us ‘development with a dynamic’ but this is not genetic…
