Darwinism and the fall of science

November 17th, 2015 · No Comments

The failure of the science community to debrief darwinism is completely incomprehensible. It could simply be stupidity, but the suspicion is that of succumbing to the fatal temptation of ideological manipulation. Being terrified at the design argument generates a deceptive stance, as does the muddled abuse of social darwinist thinking, as if this were necessary to the functioning of economy. Beside that a fake argument against design claims ( roughly the same as the first point above) is useful for secular humanists trying to enforce their views with scientific writ.

But the whole game is going to backfire, and already has. To be sure, the manipulators have a lock on in the center of gravity of cultural secularists (religious or not), but even there the grip on opinion is faltering.
At the end the reputation of science will be shot, because people will not trust what scientists say.
