A moral/aesthetic critique of multiverse theory based on suspicious hunch… (a non-theistic penny ante thrown in the pot)

December 24th, 2015 · No Comments

I am skulking down backalleys on this one: with a funny ‘betcha’ multiverse theory is missing something, or else is a botched theory that refers to a domain of potentialities not all of which can be realized. I’ll get past the frowning tut-tut chorus and return to claim the pot.

Here’s my problem (it is actually multiverse theory’s problem):
The multiverse would be a grotesque and egregious collation of all possible forms of evil, suffering, and ever more ingenious evil resulting in a version of hell that would be beyond all reason. Combinations of moral and esthetic axioms are surely present in some unknown form to represent realization of fictitious potentials.
