Our talk of ‘virtual revolution’ a cop out?
We have put the idea in the context of the Women’s March on Washington: such a huge rally could have proposed a virtual revolution and sent a shock to the system. We can say the same for the coming climate march in April. But will we see the same supine narrowly focused type of protest march…
The reality is that even the climate movement is barely able to function.
Consider again our previous link:
A sober view of the situation makes it obvious our virtual revolution is completely inadequate, however useful as a device of communication, and as a vehicle for those who can do no more.
So the question lingers ominously: how do we make the ‘virtual revolution’ realizable and what tactics and strategies are needed?
