R48G: ‘our revolution’ and bernies on the barricades…

Sanders demands support as an instance of the ‘virtual revolutionary’ and his idea of ‘our revolution’ is both brilliant and corny, but a path to some kind of politics of the ‘future now!’. Sanders made a breakthrough point in the last election and his option is tabled as a version of the ‘revolution/evolution’ dilemma now confronting political disaster in the age of climate catastrophe. But the invocation of socialism like an unstable phenomenon seeking equilibrium will destabilize the whole question of ‘what is to be done’ with a logical continuation to the ‘social democratic’/’FDR pseudosocialism’: a socio-political transformation of culture and economy, and probably a constitutional re-foundation, i.e. ‘our revolution’, or else our revolution, no quote marks.
