The need for a unified platfrom//What Was Lenin Thinking? – The New York Times

The idea that the Russian revolution had to go through a bourgeois democratic phase, with a resulting passivity of the socialists (and which Lenin rejected) is one of the symptoms of the confused analysis of the marxist legacy.
We have commented many times on this with the suggestion (e.g. our DMNC framework) that an integrated analysis and revolutionary platform ensure a ‘one stage’ revolutionary transition, that is, the democratic communist transition happen as one fait accompli with a set of ‘reconciliations’ (in the sense of the dialectic) between democracy/authority, markets/planning, and authority/anarchism. A revolutionary transition has to be ready with a scheme that won’t unravel or deviate into authoritarian terror …
