Universal class, working class //Beyond Neoliberal Identity Politics

The value of our emphasis on the ‘universal class’ is that we can use a set theory analogy to look at different subsets of that universal class and this includes not only the working class but all the various sectors of so-called identity politics. This approach is not obsessed with the working class focus (which can however be brought to the front) and can deal with a large spectrum of social groups…
