R48G: do we actually have a left? a socialist march on Washington?

June 1st, 2017 · No Comments

The older marxist inspired left is more or less paralyzed and ‘in place’ as a ‘comment do nothing zone’. We have had marches from a number of sources, but nothing from a socialist or other group. Part of the problem as noted here over and over again is that leftists are actually too timid to really promote socialism because they no longer really have a platform.
We have suggested a way beyond the impasse: recreate the subject, disown the older legacy by starting over, create a clear and coherent combination that is radical/evolutionary/revolutionary, and in the problem fret the effort as the realization of democracy. Our formula is to bring communism to liberalism, liberalism to communism, and to disown the bolshevik history entirely: the result must have distanced itself completely from the useless history of bolshevism, what were they thinking?
