R48G: notes for a new ‘netbook’…navigating ‘revolution’ gulch…

August 18th, 2017 · No Comments

We have no doubt alienated a lot of leftists with our take on revolution, but in many ways it is useful to operate on the sidelines here. Further, everything we have said is really in its ‘virtual revolution’ mode as a deliberate way to communicate across the ‘social democracy gulch’, which is the real content of Sanders brand of ‘socialism’. The point is that everything said here is usable in various modes, along the evolutionary to revolutionary spectrum, for all groups. Like Sanders we can talk ‘revolution’ in a mixed semantics, and some competition. In fact we haven’t really proposed anything revolutionary: our virtual ‘revolution’ awaits those whose are digging their own graves via capitalism and its politics…

Maybe time for a new netbooK: we can take a set of selections from the Marx/Engels legacy as an anchor and then proceed to our new perspective….
