The Chavistas/Maduro have a remarkable opportunity in front of them but it seems the danger of distraction looms. As we have pointed out socialist thinking suffers a series of marxist confusions and this tends to make proponents balk. Why not complete the revolution by moving to the phase of ‘expropriation’ and a socialist/communist foundation? Our formulation, from the sidelines, suggests how to break out of socialist deadlock…
Our DMNC points to a way to think in terms of a triad of potential sectors, planned, market, autonomous, as a gendanken experiment to get past the logical logjam of ‘socialist’ cliches.
