We confront the terrible reality that conventional politics cannot deal with the crisis that has emerged…we need a larger platform than the conventional emphasis on working class politics (which can continue as before as a focal point to the universal class). The issue of the working class is simple: Coltan miners of the Congo don’t have the vote but are a key part of the US economy. If we cite the working class we must include them and any electoral process that doesn’t is a fraud and unworthy of a socialist project…
