Darwinism: taking micro as macroevolution

October 22nd, 2017 · No Comments

The confusion over evolution can’t be resolved until we adopt a distinction of ‘macroevolution’ and ‘microevolution’. Strictly speaking this is a kind of ‘category’ distinction that applies to different versions of ‘evolution’, and the ‘macro effect’ demonstrable in world history is grim reminder of just how far off darwinism is: it takes natural selection as macro when at most it is micro and the result is hopelessly confusing. Punctuated equilibrium has suffered the same fate, having been turned into micro process when it could only be macro.
