The issue of the eonic effect is well-known to most biologists who also know they can’t discuss it in public. A pity! The study in WHEE (history-and-evolution.com) shows us something important about the failure of science with theories of evolution…Biologists need to be more open on the subject of evolution and also wary of thinking reductionism is going to resolve the question (the reverse is also true, and speculative theorizing isn’t going to work either…)
