We have tried to argue that communism and planned economies are not necessarily the only road to a socialist future.

The revolutionary path should have been to single integrated outcome: a communist foundation and a mixed sector system of planned and market economies. But market economies need to be based on a Commons or shared resources. This can also allow a transitional interaction with external systems, socialist or not…This approach allows liberalism to embrace communism, and communism to embrace liberalism…
