gould’s confusion over evolutionary directionality…//New Theory Says If We Traveled Back to the Beginning of Time, Humans Might Never Have Evolved

There is a simple answer to all this: life/evolution are connected to some form of fine tuning and there is a cosmic teleology of life, evolution, and the emergence of mind itself. This may be conjecture but it at least as plausible as the muddle of darwinists/gould with their confusion over natural selection. In fact the selectionist view is so completely implausible statistically that the view of teleological evolution becomes the leading candidate almost by default…

Gould goes on to say that if we rewound the history of Earth back to the beginning and allowed it to play out again under slightly different circumstances, the evolution of life would be radically different, maybe even unrecognizable to what we know today. This is due in part to the fact that natural selection relies on random mutations in DNA, and that the conditions that would produce a specific, beneficial mutation may be extremely rare.
